PizzaBoy Ending Checklist

Track chapter outcomes and finale paths without burying yourself in spoilers.

Ending Checklist

PizzaBoy’s story branches with how you play, not with a dialogue wheel alone. Breadless describes Metroidvania levels packed with secrets and collectibles, and states that the player’s choice in how they tackle a level determines each chapter ending and ultimately the end of the game. Steam’s story blurb sharpens that idea further: the finale hinges on searching for the truth about Pizza Dawg’s Pizza versus remaining ignorant of the company’s dark secrets. This checklist is the Tools-layer tracker for those decisions. For prose, themes, and character stakes, open Multiple Endings and Story Lore.

Use this page during and after demo sessions, then again after the August 14, 2026 launch on Steam app 2238400. Mark what you personally observed. Demo structure may not equal every full-game chapter, so keep a mental split between “seen in demo” and “confirmed in release.” Pair release timing with Release Date and patch notes with Demo Changelog.

How to use this checklist

Print it, copy it into notes, or simply skim before a chapter select. For each chapter or major delivery zone, record four flags:

  1. Delivery focus — You prioritized reaching the customer with pizza intact and a strong star outcome.
  2. Exploration focus — You broke from the main path for secrets, memories, or off-route rooms.
  3. Mixed run — You delivered successfully but still grabbed key optional beats.
  4. Outcome tag — Note the chapter ending label you received (use your own spoiler-safe nickname if you prefer).

Those four flags map cleanly onto the game’s published fantasy: deliver for Pizza Dawg’s, survive pizza-hungry monsters you cannot fight, and decide how hard you dig into corporate mystery. When a room repeatedly ruins your pie, leave the checklist and drill Protect Pizza Delivery or Tough Sections before forcing an ending attempt.

Pre-chapter readiness

Before you care about endings, confirm controls and hardware. Keyboard: MOVE WASD/Arrows, JUMP L/Z/Space, DASH K/X/Shift, RECHARGE DASH S/Down, INTERACT W/Up. Controllers are fully supported per Steam. Specs live on System Requirements. New players should finish Getting Started and How to Play the Demo, then stabilize movement with Air Dash Movement.

Ending hunting is miserable if dash recharge is still accidental. Recharge is a committed input, not a free double dash—practice until you can wall-bounce, land, recharge, and re-engage without drifting into a monster’s steal range.

Chapter tracker (spoiler-light)

Copy this template per chapter:

  • Chapter / zone name: ____
  • Pizza condition on delivery (full / damaged / failed): ____
  • Star feeling (strong / okay / poor): ____
  • Secrets touched (none / some / many): ____
  • Memory or company clues found (yes / no / unsure): ____
  • Ending nickname you unlocked: ____
  • Want a different ending next? (delivery-leaning / truth-leaning / mixed): ____

When you want a recommended order for secrets versus stars, switch to Exploration Priority and Delivery Star Tips. Routes Hub thinking keeps this checklist from becoming a random checkbox soup.

Finale preparation checklist

Near the end of a playthrough, ask:

  • Did most chapters lean delivery, truth, or mixed?
  • Did you consistently protect pizza well enough that story flags were not drowned out by failed deliveries?
  • Did you revisit earlier maps after new movement confidence unlocked higher paths?
  • Have you logged collectibles that might gate memories on Collectibles Checklist?
  • Do you understand PizzaBoy, VampireGirl, and Pepperoni Dog’s roles via PizzaBoy, VampireGirl, and the Characters Hub?

Steam frames PizzaBoy as a loyal Pizza Dawg’s employee with lost memories, promoted into monster deliveries for a tiny raise, who falls for a vampire while uncovering company secrets. VampireGirl hates pizza delivery guys yet makes an exception; Pepperoni Dog rounds out the odd found family. Your ending tracker should note whether you engaged those story threads or speedran pies past them.

Anti-spoiler rules for this Tools page

  • Do not require named ending titles here; nicknames are fine.
  • Prefer verbs: searched, ignored, delivered, explored.
  • Put cutscene-level detail in Multiple Endings and Story Lore, not in this checklist.
  • Link out instead of pasting long plot paragraphs so the tool stays scannable mid-run.

Suggested replay loop

  1. First clear: mixed comfort route—learn monsters and dash, accept imperfect stars.
  2. Second clear: delivery-star focus using Delivery Star Tips.
  3. Third clear: exploration and truth focus using Secrets and Collectibles plus the Collectibles Checklist.
  4. Compare chapter tags on this page; fill gaps with targeted chapter selects if the full game offers them.
  5. Return to PizzaBoy Routes Hub when you need a priority order instead of a binary choice.

Keep PizzaBoy Tools Hub, Guides Hub, Updates, and the Wiki one click away. Endings are a system: movement skill, pizza integrity, and curiosity about Pizza Dawg’s all feed the same tracker. Tick boxes honestly, and the narrative guides will make sense when you are ready for spoilers.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does PizzaBoy have multiple endings?

Yes. Steam states chapter endings and the finale depend on how you tackle levels and whether you pursue the company’s secrets.

Should I chase endings on my first demo run?

Learn dash, recharge, and pizza protection first. Use this checklist after controls feel comfortable.

What is the difference between delivery and truth routes?

Delivery leans toward intact pizza and strong customer results; truth leans toward secrets, memories, and company mysteries. Mixed runs do both.

Where do I read full ending spoilers?

Use the Multiple Endings guide and Story Lore pages. This Tools checklist stays spoiler-light on purpose.

Will the demo include every full-game ending?

Treat demo outcomes as practice. Re-verify against the August 14, 2026 release and patch notes.
